CONTINUE SHOPPINGOnce the cones are filled, a batch closing device can fold their open ends in a single finishing step. This is useful when closing cones individually would slow down a production line. The number of cones handled at once depends on the equipment, and the closing component must match the format being produced.
The device must reach the open end of each filled cone and fold it in the intended position. Cone length and shape affect that alignment, so a component made for one format may not close another format correctly. Check the exact cone specifications rather than relying on a general label such as “standard” or “king.”
Close cones after they have been filled and the intended fill has been checked. If a cone is closed too early, correcting an uneven fill becomes more difficult. Once closed, the cones can move to inspection and packaging according to the production team’s process.
